Systems Innovation Engineering is seeking a Recruiting/HR Coordinator Intern to support the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources team. This role provides hands-on experience in recruiting, employee onboarding, and HR operations within a defense and space industry environment. You will work alongside HR professionals to support daily operations and gain foundational knowledge of the employee lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions to job boards, university career platforms, and social media channels.
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.
- Manage candidate communications throughout the recruiting process.
- Facilitate onboarding activities, including orientation logistics and the preparation of new hire documentation.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records within HR systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
