About the role#
Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op for the Summer 2026 term. This full-time, paid position is based on-site in our Boston, MA office. You will work alongside engineering teams on highly technical building projects, contributing to design documentation and gaining hands-on experience through our structured intern education program.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
- Create and prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings for mechanical systems.
- Support engineers with design calculations and the sizing of building mechanical systems.
- Participate in field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Attend the intern education program, which features lunch-and-learn sessions on various aspects of the business.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Must have completed at least your second year of study.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software, as well as the MS Office Suite.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
