Product Compliance Intern

About the role#

Syntiant Corp. is seeking a Product Compliance Intern to join the Operations department. This role supports the Product Compliance and Quality organizations in ensuring that products meet global regulatory, environmental, and customer compliance standards. You will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor supply chains, sustainability programs, and product lifecycle compliance management while working alongside engineering, sourcing, and quality teams.

What you'll do#

• Evaluate materials, components, and finished products against global environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, review, and analyze supplier material declarations and compliance documentation.
• Research and interpret international regulations affecting semiconductor and electronic products, including chemical, packaging, and product stewardship requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, operations, and quality teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor emerging regulatory trends and assess their impact on materials, products, and business operations.
• Assist in preparing compliance disclosures, customer declarations, and regulatory reports.
• Maintain compliance databases and documentation systems.
• Develop internal guidance documents and training materials.
• Participate in sustainability, ESG, and product stewardship initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
• An interest in environmental regulations, sustainability, regulatory affairs, or product stewardship is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic products, semiconductor technologies, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
