About the role#
Sylvamo is seeking an E&I Maintenance Co-op or Intern for the Eastover, South Carolina mill. This temporary position is designed to prepare students for industrial employment while they earn college credit hours. You will work alongside Journeyman-level technicians to support routine maintenance and complete independent tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist Journeyman-level E&I Technicians with daily maintenance tasks.
- Perform electrical circuit troubleshooting and repairs.
- Install conduit and wire.
- Repair lighting systems.
- Calibrate instrumentation and control valves.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and electric drives.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an Electrical-Instrumentation Technology curriculum or equivalent program.
- Knowledge of DCS, PLC, electric drives, process control, and instrumentation.
- Understanding of power distribution systems, robotics, and industrial safety.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
