The Project Engineer Internship is part of the Project Engineer Career Development (PECD) program. This role focuses on in-field learning and development within the Rocky Mountain Division. Interns will balance their time between local work in Salt Lake City and out-of-state projects, with expected travel ranging from 50% to 75% of the time.
What you'll do#
- Assist with scheduling and production rate tracking.
- Support estimating processes and budget preparation.
- Manage project cost control.
- Oversee safety management and quality control protocols.
- Participate in business development, client relations, and field resource management.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities.
- A demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving.
- Reliable transportation for travel between the office and job sites.
