    About the role#

    This internship provides students with hands-on experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) within the mission critical and data center industry. You will work in a collaborative office environment alongside senior professionals, gaining exposure to real-world projects and industry-standard workflows. The program includes structured onboarding and mentorship to help you explore long-term career paths within the VDC field.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop technical modeling skills using Revit.
    • Contribute to data center projects and learn how VDC supports construction coordination, fabrication, and field execution.
    • Engage with industry-standard software and workflows beyond Revit.
    • Participate in structured mentorship sessions with experienced team members.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related building systems discipline.
    • Completion of a Revit course.
    • Practical experience with Revit and VDC.

    Location & details#

    • Locations: Clifton Park, NY or Phoenix, AZ.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
    • Schedule: The program requires a total of 400 hours. Interns work 16–36 hours per week, with the total duration typically ranging from 12–24 weeks based on individual availability.
