Internship--Landscape Architecture + Urbanism

About the role#

Stoss Landscape Urbanism seeks interns to join the team on a variety of landscape projects, including parks and open spaces, urban and campus design, ecological and resiliency planning, and municipal strategies. This position offers the opportunity to build professional skills while being mentored by peers and senior staff.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to multi-scale landscape infrastructures, development and remediation projects, and exhibition design.
• Develop and refine design skills through hands-on project work.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master of Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a comparable program (such as M.Arch, MAUD, or MLAUD).
• Exceptional design and conceptual skills, demonstrated through a portfolio (required for consideration).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic understanding of Rhino for digital 3D rendering.
• Excellent physical 3D model-building skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively within a team.
