Student Team Member- Griffs

About the role#

Griff’s is the student-run restaurant and pub operated by the St. Clair SRC. This role involves working in either Front of House (servers, hosts, runners, bussers) or Back of House (kitchen support, dishwashing, line prep) roles to provide service to students and staff.

What you'll do#

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Take orders accurately and serve food and drinks efficiently.
• Handle POS transactions and payments.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and organized.
• Prepare food items according to safety and recipe standards.
• Assist with line cooking, portioning, and plating.
• Maintain a clean kitchen and prep area while following sanitation procedures.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student at St. Clair College.
• Ability to work in a restaurant environment.
• A positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude.
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility with scheduling.
• Smart Serve or Food Handler’s Certification is considered an asset.

• Compensation: Paid position with tips.
