About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work alongside the Community team to engage players, support social initiatives, and learn how community management functions within an AAA game studio. You will contribute to player conversations, content creation, feedback analysis, and live playtests while gaining experience in the development of a brand-new live service game. This role provides exposure across Community, Marketing, Production, Player Experience, and Live Operations.
What you'll do#
- Engage daily with players across Discord and other community platforms to foster a welcoming environment.
- Support the creation of short-form social content for platforms including TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and X.
- Collaborate with the Community Content Manager to plan and publish community communications.
- Monitor player conversations and sentiment to capture feedback and summarize actionable insights for development teams.
- Partner with Community, Marketing, and Player Experience teams to learn the tools and workflows that support a modern live game.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Creative Media, or a related field.
- Passion for multiplayer games and the communities that surround them.
- Active participation in online communities such as Discord, Reddit, or Twitch.
- Familiarity with social platforms including TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Twitch, and X.
- Strong written communication skills and an eye for detail.
