About the role#
This is a full-time, paid seasonal internship for Summer 2026 based in Pittsfield, Maine. Interns will work 40-43 hours per week on the first shift, Monday through Friday. You will report to Production Leads and support the tube and core division in a highly active, manual production environment.
What you'll do#
- Receive work assignments and report progress to supervisors.
- Assist in baling scrap from machines and customer returns.
- Support the finishing department by precutting and capping cores.
- Perform plant cleanup, housekeeping, painting, and yard work.
- Train on lower-level plant roles and provide coverage during breaks.
- Supplement winding crews during packaging tasks as needed.
- Perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time college student for the upcoming fall semester.
- Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Logistics.
- Ability to perform active work requiring good strength and eyesight.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
