About the role#
Solid Power is seeking an Office Management and Internal Communications Intern to support the daily operations and employee experience at our Thornton, Colorado facility. This role serves as the primary point of contact for visitors and employees while assisting with internal communications, event logistics, and administrative support for the Human Resources team.
What you'll do#
- Operate the front desk, welcoming visitors, candidates, and vendors while ensuring all site access and security documentation is completed.
- Coordinate meeting and event logistics, including room setup, catering coordination, and material preparation.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including company events, committee meetings, and recognition programs.
- Draft and maintain internal communications, such as newsletters, digital signage content, and HR updates.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including onboarding assistance, file organization, and training coordination.
- Maintain the general office appearance, including stocking supplies and organizing breakrooms and conference areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to represent the company positively to diverse groups.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee, visitor, and HR-related information.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs, stand, walk, and move throughout the office to support event setup and facility maintenance.

- Location: Thornton, Colorado (On-site)
- Compensation: $22 per hour
- Schedule: 15-25 hours per week during business hours
- Employment type: Part-time, paid internship
