As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern, you will join a sales team focused on driving growth and creating new business opportunities. This role provides an opportunity to develop foundational sales skills, learn about the software industry, and contribute to the success of the sales organization through lead generation and market research.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify potential customers using targeted prospecting strategies.
- Engage with leads through email, social media, and phone to generate interest in solutions and qualify them for sales opportunities.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions within CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to execute campaigns and initiatives.
- Gain knowledge of company products, solutions, and market positioning.
What you'll need#
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, engaging presence.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn about sales and technology.
- Comfortable making calls, writing professional emails, and connecting with prospects.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute within a team environment.
