2027 Internship- Overhaul Engineer

About the role#

This internship provides students with hands-on experience supporting gas turbine product development and overhaul activities. Working under the guidance of a mentor, you will complete a project assignment that allows you to apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering and manufacturing challenges.

What you'll do#

• Analyze and develop turbomachinery assembly documentation and work instructions.
• Perform testing and data analysis to support various gas turbine product lines.
• Conduct materials research and analyze design changes to drive product improvements.
• Support engine assembly and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure designs conform to specifications regarding reliability, performance, cost, and serviceability.
• Develop and improve tooling solutions to enhance safety, quality, and production efficiency.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a 4-year or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science.
• Classified as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or currently attending graduate school.
• Overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous co-op or internship experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across a variety of tasks.

• Modality: This is an on-site position requiring attendance five days a week.
