This full-time Co-op position offers hands-on experience in consulting engineering, starting in mid-May 2026 and continuing through late November or early December 2026. You will participate in an initial orientation and training period, followed by on-the-job training alongside full-time team members. This role provides exposure to geotechnical engineering, environmental remediation, pavement design, and materials evaluation, allowing you to work directly with construction managers, contractors, and design professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support field construction quality control activities.
- Assess and evaluate project materials, including soils, concrete, and asphalt.
- Assist engineering staff with field evaluations and quality control testing.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Basic computer literacy for in-field work, communications, and report generation.
- A valid driver's license, experience driving in the U.S., and a good driving record.
- Ability to work outside at construction sites in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, stoop, or kneel for long periods, walk on uneven terrain, and lift or carry equipment weighing up to 50-60 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
- A safety-minded approach and a strong willingness to learn.

- Compensation: This is a paid position.
