Copy & Content Intern

About the role#

Signature Products Group is seeking a Copy & Content Intern to support marketing and ecommerce initiatives. You will work closely with the Content Manager, Designers, and the Ecommerce team to maintain brand voice and streamline department workflows. A core component of this role is the Focus Project, an independent initiative where you will scope, execute, and present a solution for product and ecommerce content or AI process improvements. This position is paid and offers the opportunity to gain cross-functional experience in a manufacturing environment.

What you'll do#

• Draft, edit, and proofread marketing copy, product descriptions, and ecommerce listings across multiple brands.
• Audit existing digital content for accuracy, consistency, and organization.
• Help build and maintain content systems, including calendars, trackers, and style guides.
• Support market research and evaluate AI tools for content generation and quality review.
• Collaborate with internal teams by participating in discussions and project meetings.
• Own and execute the Focus Project from initial scoping to final presentation.
• Provide general production support to the Marketing department as priorities shift.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Creative Writing, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Graphic Design.
• Experience with content or social media writing.
• Familiarity with AI tools for learning or generating copy.
• Strong communication skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage processes, and digest feedback to improve output.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with project management tools or ecommerce platforms like Shopify is a plus.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site in Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Schedule: 25-30 hours per week.
• Term: Rolling, 5-6 weeks depending on school schedule.
• Compensation: $18/hour.
