The Records Intern assists local staff in processing client and matter files. Responsibilities include managing files for scanning, onsite or offsite storage, retrieval, tracking, and destruction. This role also involves entering file information into the Automated Records Management System (ARMS). This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
What you'll do#
- Observe internal Records Department procedures and Records Retention Policy schedules.
- Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples and paper clips.
- Scan documents using multi-function printers and review them for accuracy.
- Save scanned files in iManage using standardized naming conventions.
- Coordinate with local records staff to complete assignments.
- Utilize computer applications including iManage, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and 3E.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Strong communication, organizational, and results-focused skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure with patience and diplomacy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent standing, walking, and medium to heavy lifting, as well as occasional bending and stooping.

- Location: Sarasota, Florida.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25-35 hours per week.
- Work Modality: On-site.
