Executive of Academic Integrity & Student Success

About the role#

The Executive of Academic Integrity & Student Success serves as a key point of contact for students navigating academic concerns. This role focuses on advocating for student interests, identifying gaps in support services, and fostering partnerships with faculty to enhance the overall academic experience at Sheridan College.

What you'll do#

• Report to the Director of the Student Executive Team and support organizational priorities.
• Support students through the Academic Appeals process and direct them to relevant resources like tutoring or Academic Advisors.
• Meet with Associate Deans and Program Coordinators to address student needs across various faculties.
• Develop and implement new initiatives designed to improve the student experience.
• Promote awareness of existing academic services and identify emerging student needs.
• Collaborate with other Executive Team members to ensure effective representation across all campuses.
• Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, and campus events while preparing reports for the Board of Directors.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time or part-time day student at Sheridan College with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in public speaking for events and group presentations.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with honesty and integrity.
• Professional conduct and a self-motivated work ethic.
• A flexible schedule to accommodate work hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and a creative approach to campus initiatives.

Location & details#

• Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
• Term: July 2026 – April 30, 2027.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $21.49 per hour.
• Schedule: 15–20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours outside of the semester.
