About the role#
Shennon Biotechnologies is seeking a Summer MBA Intern to support project-based analytical work for executive leadership and cross-functional scientific teams. This role focuses on generating insights related to oncology and autoimmune therapeutics, competitive landscapes, and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making. You will work closely with leadership, scientific advisors, and engineers to evaluate pipeline opportunities and platform positioning.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and competitive landscape analyses within oncology and autoimmune therapeutic areas.
- Analyze standards of care, clinical-stage pipelines, emerging treatment modalities, and patient population triage.
- Track biotech and pharmaceutical industry activity, including partnerships, licensing, financings, acquisitions, and clinical milestones.
- Support strategic assessments of oncology targets, immunology pathways, and emerging technologies.
- Develop presentations, market maps, executive summaries, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the executive team in optimizing pitch decks for external business conversations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MBA, preferably with a focus in healthcare or biotechnology.
- Academic or professional background in life sciences, biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize scientific literature, clinical trial data, and industry reports into actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and market research tools.
- Familiarity with oncology or immunology concepts is highly desirable.
