About the role#
SGGG Fund Services Inc. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant co-op to support operational excellence. This role focuses on the accurate and timely calculation of Net Asset Value per Unit (NAVPU) for assigned client portfolios while contributing to process improvements within a client-focused team.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the accounting records of client portfolios, including trades, expenses, and accruals.
- Produce daily, weekly, or monthly net asset values for each client.
- Prepare draft financial statements, audit information packages, and tax returns.
- Develop professional and productive relationships with clients and internal staff.
- Keep management informed of any issues that could impact a client.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary co-op or internship program (Accounting or Finance).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel.
- Clear and fluent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to function as an effective member of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
