The Research & Development Intern will support the R&D team in developing sample product batches, reviewing recipes, and documenting results. This is a full-time, paid position scheduled for Summer 2026, running through the end of August.
What you'll do#
- Review batch recipes, weigh ingredients, and prepare formulations.
- Assist Scientists in evaluating batch stability to meet product standards.
- Conduct physical tests on batch samples, including pH, viscosity, specific gravity, color, and odor.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records and logs in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Scan Safety Data Sheets and Certificates of Analysis into the system.
- Communicate batch non-conformance to leadership.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
What you'll need#
- Associates degree in an Engineering or Science field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of metric weights and measures.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work around strong scents and fragrances.
- Ability to discern scent and color hues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive work accurately.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks from start to finish.
Location & details#
- Location: Meridian, Idaho.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
