Internal Audit Intern

About the role#

SBA Communications is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to support the department with compliance, testing, and documentation. This is a paid, full-time position based in Boca Raton, Florida.

What you'll do#

• Assist with FCPA compliance reviews through transaction testing.
• Support SOX requirements, including conducting process walkthroughs and maintaining documentation.
• Perform Audit Test of Controls to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of financial controls.
• Assist in reviewing compliance with the International Anti-Corruption Compliance Policy.
• Prepare documentation to support audit work performed.
• Communicate findings to supervisors and assist with corrective actions.
• Handle ad hoc administrative tasks and utilize standard office equipment.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a College or Master’s degree program, or a recent graduate with less than one year of relevant experience.
• Preferred majors include Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preferred: Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, ACL, Tableau) and AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate).
