Software Engineering R&D - Internship

About the role#

Saviynt is seeking interns for the Software Engineering R&D program within Saviynt LABS. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience in AI, security, cloud infrastructure, and data. You will work alongside engineers, data scientists, and product teams to drive innovation and contribute to real-world projects. Depending on your background, focus areas may include Machine Learning and Data Science, Site Reliability Engineering and Cloud, AI Security, or Product AI.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams on impactful projects.
• Design, implement, and test software components or models.
• Explore new tools, frameworks, and datasets to enhance product capabilities.
• Communicate results and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to documentation, presentations, or project demos at the conclusion of the internship.
• Complete security and privacy literacy training and adhere to company information security policies.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Statistics.
• Strong foundation in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.
• Interest or experience in machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or applied AI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn.
• Preferred: Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); and coursework in AI ethics, data security, or distributed systems.
