About the role#
The Social Media & Partnerships Intern supports the Communications team by assisting with social media execution, content development, and partnership initiatives for SASSO and its clients. This role provides hands-on experience in organic social media strategy, influencer outreach, and campaign execution within a collaborative agency environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing content across agency social media platforms.
- Create written, visual, and short-form content to support marketing initiatives.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with audiences.
- Research trends, competitors, and content ideas to support audience growth.
- Support partnership outreach for sports-related clients by researching potential athletes, creators, organizations, and brand partners.
- Assist with outreach communications, relationship tracking, and campaign organization.
- Collaborate with Communications, Creative, Strategy, and Account teams on promotional initiatives.
- Track social media engagement and basic performance metrics to assist with reporting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Basic understanding of content creation, social media trends, and audience engagement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Interest in social media marketing, influencer marketing, partnerships, brand strategy, or communications.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Employment: Part-time (10–20 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship.
