About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to support the engineering and project management team at Sanimax. You will participate in the life cycle of industrial projects, contributing to the planning, coordination, and execution of capital investments within manufacturing facilities. This role involves a mix of office-based planning and on-site field work.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the planning and tracking of project schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Identify resources required for project execution and monitor progress.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, operations, maintenance teams, and external consultants.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, presentations, and budget tracking.
• Conduct field visits to monitor work progress and understand operational challenges.
• Identify project risks and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in project management and the industrial sector.
• Functional bilingualism in French and English.
• Interest in field work and manufacturing environments.
• Basic knowledge of drafting software such as AutoCAD is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, autonomy, and proactive communication abilities.
