Salt River Project is seeking a College Intern to support the Records and Information Governance Department. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data services, information management, and data governance. Interns work under direct supervision to contribute to meaningful projects while developing technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Build out the Enterprise Information Catalog.
- Provide customer service to business partners across various internal projects.
- Develop competency in Microsoft Office Suite and M365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint Online, and Outlook.
- Learn and utilize new technologies and platforms, such as Collibra, Snowflake, PowerBI, Dataiku, and ServiceNow.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in at least 6 semester college credit hours (or equivalent).
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Preference for students pursuing majors in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Preference for 100-level or higher coursework related to the position.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and applications.
Location & details#
- Location: Tempe, Arizona.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (up to three days per week teleworking available; must reside in Arizona).
- Hours: Minimum of 25 hours per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week, between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Note: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
