About the role#
The Shift Supervisor oversees the nightly operations of Red’s Pub. This position requires working closely with student staff to facilitate daily functions and ensuring that all Student Union, University, and state policies are followed. The role involves significant interaction with students, faculty, staff, and university guests.
What you'll do#
- Supervise nightly operations at Red’s Pub.
- Enforce university and state policies and procedures.
- Coordinate weekly staff scheduling.
- Manage product and inventory levels.
- Assist in training staff members.
- Handle money and sales receipts for the shift.
- Contribute to the innovation of pub facilities, operations, and programming.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of state laws.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative, innovative, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of quality customer service.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work as a professional and resourceful team member.

- Location: Fairfield, Connecticut.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.
