About the role#
This internship supports the Financial Reporting team by assisting with financial reporting, automation initiatives, documentation improvements, and the preparation of quarterly financial statements. You will gain hands-on experience with financial reporting processes, audit support, and the renewable energy industry while helping improve the accuracy and efficiency of department operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the accounting and financial reporting teams in the preparation, review, and optimization of financial reporting models.
- Enhance Workiva model automation and process efficiency.
- Assist in assembling, editing, and standardizing documentation of financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Collaborate with team members to collect accounting information for audit support, external auditor inquiries, and ad hoc requests related to financial statements.
- Develop and expand knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards and the renewable energy sector.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance at an accredited US university.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and optimization to streamline data processing.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available for this position).

- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: Paid internship with an hourly rate of $25.00 to $40.00 depending on degree level and experience.
