RSA is seeking an Undergraduate Intern to join the Product R&D team. This role focuses on the architecture and development of the ID Plus hybrid cloud and mobile secure identity platform. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise security features, applying software development skills to solve real-world information security challenges.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to computer and internet security initiatives.
- Engage in cloud-based development using platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Work with relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases.
- Develop user interfaces using frameworks such as React, Bootstrap, Backbone, or Angular.
- Utilize Agile software development processes and tools, including JIRA, Git, and Github.
- Work with testing frameworks, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Redis, and directory services like Active Directory or OpenLDAP.
- Use development, build, and continuous integration tools such as IntelliJ, Gradle, and Jenkins.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Experience programming in Java.
- A solid understanding of object-oriented software design principles.
- Interest in designing, implementing, and testing cloud services and applications.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Strength in automated test development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly.
