About the role#
The Cooper for North Carolina campaign is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 program. This internship provides exposure to campaign operations across departments including Communications, Digital, Finance, Political, and Research. We welcome candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
What you'll do#
Interns are assigned to specific departments to support campaign goals. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with communications and media relations efforts.
- Conducting research and analyzing information to inform strategy.
- Supporting the finance team with fundraising activities.
- Helping manage the campaign's digital presence.
- Engaging with community leaders to build political support.
What you'll need#
- An interest in political campaigning.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic office software.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week.

Location & details#
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina (on-site only).
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 24 to November 13).
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
- Commitment: Part-time (20 hours per week).
