About the role#
Rockfon, a division of ROCKWOOL Group, is seeking an intern to join the Marketing and Business Development team at the Chicago facility. This is a full-time, on-site role with a 12-month duration. You will report to the Head of Product Management and support the training and education of contractors regarding the Mono Acoustic ceiling solution.
What you'll do#
- Support hands-on training sessions for new and existing Mono Acoustic installers.
- Learn the complete Mono Acoustic installation process to serve as a technical resource.
- Provide on-site technical support and installation guidance to ceiling contractors.
- Prepare product samples and mock-ups for the sales team and certified installers.
- Assist the Product Manager in developing training materials, installation guides, and technical support resources.
- Help maintain and improve training documentation and best practices.
- Build relationships with contractors through technical support and customer service.
What you'll need#
- Recent graduate or 0 to 1 year of experience in industrial painting, coating systems, construction, or interior finishing.
- Education or training in industrial painting, coating, construction technology, or building materials.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train customers in classroom and field settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM software.
- Comfort working in both office and construction site environments.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

- Compensation: $22 to $25 per hour, based on academic program, experience, and location.
