Marketing Specialist Intern

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity for students or recent graduates to explore the intersection of healthcare and marketing within the field of medical imaging and radiology. You will support the growth and expansion of services by designing and delivering marketing programs, while partnering with the organization's referral base to promote the brand.

What you'll do#

• Brainstorm, research, and develop creative marketing campaigns and ideas based on consumer behavior trends.
• Create and convey brand messages to improve overall brand awareness.
• Coordinate participation in conferences, seminars, presentations, and various promotional events.
• Generate content for target audiences across social media, email, video, and web channels.
• Execute specific tasks within the marketing plan as assigned.

What you'll need#

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of marketing and healthcare promotion principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software, including Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, Google Ads, and web analytics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-resolution skills.
• Must be a Rhode Island resident attending school, a non-resident attending a school or training program in Rhode Island, or a graduate of a Rhode Island program within the last six months.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
