Branch Operations Intern

About the role#

The Branch Operations Intern role is designed to provide hands-on experience in the consumer finance industry. You will learn core business practices and operational procedures with the goal of preparing for potential future management responsibilities. This is a paid, on-site position based in Garland, Texas.

What you'll do#

• Complete the required training program within the designated timeframe.
• Develop an understanding of personal loan products to help customers make informed financial decisions.
• Build and maintain customer relationships by providing exceptional service.
• Create and present loan consolidation options to customers.
• Assist the team in maintaining standards for weekly delinquency reduction.
• Learn to underwrite loans, handle past-due accounts, and execute business plans for outbound customer solicitation.
• Close loans as directed by the Branch Manager.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an accredited college program, preferably majoring in Business Administration or Finance.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule working between 8 and 25 hours per week, including some evenings and Saturdays.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Must be eligible and willing to obtain all required certifications and licenses.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment, drug screen, credit check, and criminal background check.

• Location: Garland, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Typically 16-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and Saturday requirements.
