Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking an engineering co-op student to join our specialized wire harness design division. This role offers hands-on experience in a growing team, where you will contribute to foundational procedures and the development of electrical interconnect solutions. You will work directly with industry-leading software and manufacturing technology to support projects from concept through production.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and production of wire harness systems for advanced engineering applications.
- Learn and utilize Cadonix Arcadia software to create and update wire harness designs.
- Convert existing drawings and legacy formats into digital design files.
- Develop manufacturing-ready documentation, including work instructions, test procedures, and formboards.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to validate designs and optimize production tools.
- Contribute to process improvements and the development of best practices within the division.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
- Completed at least sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
- Strong interest in electrical systems, wire harness design, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Must meet export control requirements as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or asylee/refugee.

- Location: Rochester, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026, with the potential to extend through Spring 2027.
- Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.
- Status: Paid, full-time co-op position.
