The Recruiting Intern supports high-volume, seasonal recruiting and onboarding for Game Day Representatives and other league operations roles within the RCX Sports Foundation. This role provides practical experience in recruiting operations, HR systems, candidate communication, and seasonal workforce support. You will work closely with the People Ops team to maintain organized hiring processes and ensure compliance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the end-to-end job posting process, including creation, performance monitoring, and closing roles.
- Support League Coordinators with candidate flow administration, interview scheduling, and feedback collection.
- Initiate and track background checks, follow up on missing items, and maintain status documentation.
- Process onboarding requirements and support I-9 verification workflows.
- Conduct phone screens for Game Day Representatives and other Foundation roles.
- Assist with HRIS tasks, including processing employee changes, troubleshooting system updates, and supporting seasonal offboarding.
- Help create training materials and support 1099 official processing.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least two years of college coursework; entering junior or senior year.
- Interest in Human Resources, Recruiting, People Operations, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related fields.
- Prior internship, part-time work, campus leadership, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
- Strong written communication skills and comfort handling confidential information.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly; prior ATS or HRIS experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote, USA.
- Term: Fall 2026 (estimated August through November).
- Schedule: 20-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8am and 6pm ET.
- Compensation: Paid, hourly, FLSA non-exempt.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
