About the role#
This internship or co-op position focuses on research within the Artificial Intelligence team. You will support projects related to large language models, with a specific emphasis on agentic AI, reasoning, and verification frameworks. This is a full-time, hybrid role for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop methods and algorithms to evaluate, verify, and improve the reasoning, planning, and decision-making of large language models and agentic systems.
- Design and execute experiments on a GPU cluster while benchmarking performance against established baselines.
- Explore approaches for agentic AI, specifically focusing on models that can plan, reason, and interact with tools and environments safely.
- Detect and mitigate vulnerabilities, including hallucinations and jailbreaks.
- Communicate research findings through technical reports, presentations, and potential contributions to publications.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months for the co-op role.
- At least 1 year of MS or Ph.D.-level research experience in large language models, reasoning, fine-tuning techniques, or formal verification.
- At least 1 year of machine learning software development experience using Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
