About the role#
The Chief Investment Office (CIO) Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship designed to develop technical and professional skills within the investment management space. Interns work with the CIO, which manages over $400 billion in assets, focusing on asset and liability management, interest rate risk, and investment portfolio oversight. You will be placed within one of several specialized teams, including Alternative Assets, Global Hedge Management, U.S. Portfolio Management, or International Portfolio Management.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to meaningful organizational initiatives and drive change within the Chief Investment Office.
- Collaborate with leaders in the investment community on impactful projects.
- Apply data analysis and capital markets knowledge to inform business strategy.
- Develop technical solutions for both micro and macro investment challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Preferred majors include mathematics, engineering, economics, computer science, finance, actuarial sciences, or similar quantitative fields.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA is recommended.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or coding agents is considered an asset.
