Stoke the Vote Events Intern

About the role#

Protect Our Winters is seeking an Events Intern to support the Stoke the Vote campaign during the Fall 2026 season. This part-time, temporary role involves 10–15 hours of work per week from August 15 through December 1, 2026. This is a paid position at $20 per hour.

What you'll do#

• Support the planning and execution of Stoke the Vote events and community activations.
• Assist with event logistics, including setup, teardown, and transportation of materials.
• Prepare and organize signage, merchandise, and event supplies.
• Represent the organization at festivals, community gatherings, and partner activations.
• Manage event communications, including website listings and geo-targeted newsletters.

What you'll need#

• Reside in the Boulder/Denver area with a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, WordPress, and email automation platforms like Mailchimp.
• A passion for the outdoors and climate advocacy.
• Experience in events or nonprofit work is considered a plus.
