Point72 Academy Investment Analyst Program for Upcoming Graduates

About the role#

The Point72 Academy Investment Analyst Program is a paid, ten-month training initiative designed to introduce participants to the buy-side and prepare them for a career as an investment analyst. The program begins with eight months of formal training, followed by two months of rotations with investment teams. Upon successful completion, participants may have the opportunity to join an investing team as a full-time analyst.

What you'll do#

• Learn fundamental research and analysis skills, including statistics, accounting, financial modeling, data analysis, and coding.
• Develop sophisticated company analysis and modeling skills with guidance from Academy faculty, investment professionals, and university professors.
• Complete a compliance training curriculum to prepare for an analyst role.
• Apply developed skills to real-life situations by rotating with up to three investing teams.
• Work closely with investment professionals to gain firsthand experience and mentorship.
• Conduct yourself with the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and excellence.

• Current student status with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and July 2027.
• A fascination with research and problem-solving, coupled with intellectual curiosity.
• A high degree of self-motivation and a strong interest in pursuing a career in finance.
• A commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Compensation: The annual base salary is $125,000, excluding discretionary bonus compensation and benefits.
