System QA Intern

About the role#

As a System QA Intern at Plume Clinic, you will contribute to ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards for our customers. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance and test automation while working alongside our development teams.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the preparation of feature and regression test plans.
• Support the design, implementation, and execution of manual and automated test cases.
• Help maintain and improve the test environment.
• Review test results, assist with defect analysis and reporting, and verify fixed issues.
• Help prepare execution reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to support the testing of new features.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of software QA methodologies and processes.
• A strong desire to learn and grow, with the ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git or Jira is a plus.
• Exposure to Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and comfort working in a CLI environment are considered assets.

Location & details#

• Location: This role is based in Palo Alto, California, and requires working on-site 5 days per week at our test house.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
• Visa: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
