About the role#
Piping Rock Health Products is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to support various plant engineering projects. Working under the direction of the Sr. Plant Engineering Manager, you will assist with technical documentation and mechanical design tasks.
What you'll do#
- Create AutoCAD files based on parts, sketches, or verbal instructions.
- Develop block diagrams for existing or new facility layouts.
- Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings for mechanical parts and systems.
- Maintain and organize project files for future reference.
- Assist with additional engineering duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for mechanical engineering (junior or senior year preferred).
- Practical experience in drawing mechanical parts.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Strong quantitative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Location: Sunrise, Florida.
- Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days per week on-site.
- Term: Rolling.
