Phoenix Systems is seeking an intern to assist with the identification, marketing, and sale of surplus inventory. This role provides hands-on experience in inventory management, digital marketing, and online sales within the residential security industry. Opportunities are available for the Summer and Fall 2026 terms.
What you'll do#
- Identify, organize, and catalog surplus or at-risk inventory in the warehouse.
- Photograph products to ensure high-quality visuals for e-commerce listings.
- Write accurate and informative product descriptions for online listings.
- Create and manage listings on Facebook Marketplace and other approved e-commerce platforms.
- Respond to customer inquiries, manage negotiations, and coordinate shipping logistics.
- Track and report on inventory movement and sales performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize listing visibility.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in high school, or a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with online marketplaces such as Facebook Marketplace or eBay.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds.

- Modality: On-site in a warehouse setting.
- Commitment: Full-time.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
