IT Internship - Nutanix - DOD SkillBridge-eligible applicants only

About the role#

This internship is part of the PGTEK PATH program, specifically designed for active-duty military members approved for the DoD SkillBridge Program. The role focuses on providing transitioning service members with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud services, and Nutanix technologies. Participants engage in a combination of structured technical training, mentorship, and real-world project shadowing to build a foundation for a civilian career in enterprise IT.

What you'll do#

• Participate in structured technical training focused on virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and Nutanix technologies.
• Assist with the deployment, configuration, and support of virtualization and cloud environments.
• Support infrastructure implementation, migration, and upgrade activities.
• Learn data protection, disaster recovery, and system monitoring best practices.
• Develop customer service and consulting skills through team collaboration and client interaction.
• Shadow experienced engineers during customer projects and work toward industry certifications.

What you'll need#

• Must be an active-duty military member approved for the DoD SkillBridge Program.
• A strong interest in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, virtualization, or data center technologies.
• A basic understanding of computer systems, networking, or IT support concepts is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite training or customer engagements if required.

• Term: Summer 2026 (Approximately 4–6 months).
• Status: Paid, full-time internship.
