Summer 2026 Accounting Internship

About the role#

Permian Resources is offering a paid summer internship for students pursuing a degree in Accounting. This program provides hands-on experience through specific projects designed to aid learning and contribute to company objectives. Interns are paired with a manager and mentor for technical guidance and participate in training, field tours, and networking opportunities. The program concludes with a presentation showcasing the work and experiences gained during the internship.

What you'll do#

• Provide support for accounting functions, including Joint Interest Billing and Revenue.
• Assist with requests related to external audits.
• Perform analysis on suspense accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Complete projects that provide professional development and add value to the company.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
• Expected graduation date between Fall 2026 and Fall 2028.
• Minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
