About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Maintenance Intern position based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves hands-on work in a production facility, focusing on the maintenance and repair of equipment. It is an on-site, rolling term position open to students or graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, as well as Business Administration and Logistics.

What you'll do#

• Perform mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Assist other mechanics with daily tasks and equipment changeovers.
• Document all completed work on provided forms.
• Maintain the stockroom by identifying necessary parts and managing inventory levels.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and equipment operating skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work the hours required to complete assigned tasks.
