TikTok Shop Intern

About the role#

Pearl West is looking for a hands-on TikTok Shop Intern to help scale our e-commerce presence. This role involves end-to-end management of our TikTok Shop, including content creation, live shopping, and affiliate outreach. We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn how an e-commerce business operates and is comfortable taking ownership of projects from week one.

What you'll do#

• Plan, film, and edit 3–5+ short-form videos per week.
• Co-host or solo-host TikTok Live shopping sessions, including setup and scripting.
• Manage product listings, including copy, pricing, variants, and stock.
• Monitor daily orders and customer messages, flagging potential issues early.
• Pull weekly performance reports and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Source and reach out to TikTok creators to build and manage our affiliate program.
• Coordinate flash sales and promotional mechanics with creators.

What you'll need#

• A genuine passion for TikTok and an interest in understanding the algorithm.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to flag problems early.
• Willingness to be on camera and learn video editing.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills to manage content calendars and spreadsheets.
• Clear written communication skills for professional outreach.
• Enrollment in a program such as Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Media Studies.
• Ability to work full-time for at least 4 months.

• Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
• Term: Summer 2026 (4–8 months).
• Compensation: Paid position ($20–$25/hour).
• Employment: Full-time.
