About the role#
PDW is seeking a People Operations Intern for Summer 2026 to contribute to projects involving onboarding, internal documentation, AI tooling, and workflow automation. This is a paid, non-administrative role for a candidate interested in how a modern People Operations team functions.
What you'll do#
- Support projects tied to onboarding and the new hire experience.
- Build People Operations playbooks, process documentation, and internal resources.
- Improve internal knowledge resources and intranet content.
- Research AI tools and workflow automation for potential integration into People Operations.
- Assist with process mapping, operational improvement, and workflow optimization.
- Contribute to reporting, analytics, and operational tracking projects.
- Improve employee self-service resources.
- Partner cross-functionally on operational projects across the company.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Analytics, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in operations, systems, AI, automation, or employee experience.
- Ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to own and execute assigned projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Familiarity with AI tools, workflow automation, or platforms such as Microsoft, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or Google Workspace is preferred.

- Location: Huntsville, Alabama (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position at $24/hour.
