Pacific Coast Supply, LLC is seeking an AP/AR Intern for a rolling, part-time position. This role provides hands-on experience in financial operations within the building materials industry, with a duration ranging from 3 to 12 months and the potential for long-term employment. The position is paid at a rate of $18-22 per hour and offers 401(k) and wellness programs.
What you'll do#
- Scan, bind, and archive invoices, maintaining hard copies until processed for payment.
- Perform data entry for invoices, including verification and non-purchase order processing.
- Inquire and post invoices for assigned yards, ensuring accuracy in quantity and pricing.
- Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and vendor invoices by coordinating with plants, vendors, and the merchandising department.
- Collaborate with clients and industry experts to support financial operations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine passion for finance and a strong desire to learn, adapt, and embrace new challenges.
- A minimum of one year of clerical experience in accounts payable is preferred.
