Output Biosciences is building generative foundational models designed to decode biological systems from the molecular level to entire organisms. This role focuses on developing machine learning approaches to predict and program living systems. You will work on projects that directly impact the future of medicine and biotechnology.
What you'll do#
- Develop novel machine learning approaches for the analysis and interpretation of biological data.
- Design and implement experiments to evaluate and improve AI models using large-scale biological datasets.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address complex challenges in molecular biology and drug discovery.
- Present research findings and contribute to publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Strong background in deep learning, with practical experience in frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Proficiency in Python, including experience with large-scale data processing and analysis.
- A proven track record of research, demonstrated by publications at conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or relevant computational biology venues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex research problems.
