Ossium Health is seeking a motivated undergraduate student to join the Clinical Operations team as a paid intern. This role offers hands-on exposure to how a clinical-stage biotechnology company manages trials. You will work closely with the clinical operations team to support active clinical studies and research programs, gaining experience in a professional research environment.
What you'll do#
- Support clinical trial activities across various programs.
- Maintain and organize clinical and regulatory documentation, including study trackers, correspondence logs, and study files.
- Assist with retrospective data analysis in commercial programs.
- Prepare materials for internal meetings, including presentation slides, study updates, and cross-functional team coordination.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the team.
- Learn to operate within GCP-compliant processes and gain familiarity with clinical trial workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or associate degree program in biology, public health, health sciences, psychology, or a related field.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work from the San Francisco office for at least 4 hours per week.
- Preferred: Enrollment in a master's program, prior coursework in life sciences or healthcare, and experience in clinical research.
Location & details#
- Location: Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Hours: Part-time, 10-30 hours per week.
- Duration: 9-12 months.
- Compensation: $20-$28 per hour.
