The Talent Acquisition Co-op Student will support the recruitment team during the Fall 2026 term. This position offers hands-on experience with the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate coordination, onboarding processes, and recruitment events. You will contribute to daily operations and gain exposure to HR initiatives while working in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day recruitment operations and key HR initiatives.
- Schedule interviews and manage communication with candidates and hiring leaders.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Prepare and track onboarding documentation and assist with compliance tracking.
- Conduct and document reference checks.
- Assist with the coordination of recruitment training for hiring leaders.
- Attend and support recruitment events and career fairs, which may require travel and work during evenings or weekends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and a customer-service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel to recruitment events as required.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week).
- Compensation: Paid position at $21.00/hour.
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends.
